It depends where you are and what's already running. Statesboro and close-in Bulloch County are fastest; the outer edges of our 14-county area take longer. Call and we'll give you a real ETA rather than telling you what you want to hear.
For most vehicles, yes. We originate keys from scratch — mechanical keys, transponder keys, remote head keys, and push-to-start smart fobs. We'll need the year, make, and model, plus proof you own the vehicle. Having one working key makes the job faster and usually cheaper, so get a spare before you need one.
No. Professional picking and bypass work manipulates the lock the way a key would. In the vast majority of cases the lock works exactly as before once we're done. Drilling is a last resort, not a default, and we'll tell you before we do it.
Please don't try with pliers, glue, or a screwdriver. That usually pushes the fragment deeper or damages the pins, turning a simple extraction into a cylinder replacement. We have proper extraction tools for exactly this.
After-hours emergency work carries a premium — that's standard across the trade. What we don't do is quote one price on the phone and a different one at your door. You'll know the cost before we dispatch.

No, and this matters. A lot of locksmith results online are lead brokers who sell your call to whoever bids on it — that's where bait-and-switch pricing comes from. We're one local, independent locksmith based in Statesboro. The person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.
Rekeying is usually the answer. If your hardware is in good condition, rekeying changes which key operates it — old keys stop working immediately, at a fraction of the cost of new locks. Replacement makes sense when the hardware is worn out, damaged, or you want an upgrade.
Yes, as long as they share a compatible keyway — for example, all Kwikset or all Schlage. That's called keying alike, and it's one of the more satisfying things to have done to a house or property.
Your location, a callback number, and a description of the problem. For vehicles: year, make, model, key type, and whether any working key remains. For property: what kind of lock, how many doors, and whether you can prove you're authorized to be there. Proof of ownership is required — that's not us being difficult, it's the law.
